Rigging

Want to book an aerialist, but not sure if you can? Here’s the fine print for rigging.

Rigging inside or outside with an

Existing Structure

We look for something to rig to - ideally, this means we’re hooking into an open beam or trussing, with a minimum load capacity of 2,000 pounds. With a rigging point established, we also consider the following:

  1. Height: 14’ minimum, 18’ or more ideal

  2. Floor Area: 10’ x 10’ footprint per rigging point

  3. Assembly time: ~1 hour for a rigging install, less than an hour to take down equipment:

  4. Be prepared to answer the following questions:

    1. Do we have access to the hanging points? Is a scissor lift available?

    2. Do you have professional lighting, and can you play music for our acts on a high-performance sound system?

    3. Can you or another event organizer be available for a site inspection prior to the event?

Rigging with our

Portable Rig

We bring our portable rig to your indoor or outdoor space. This low hassle solution is easier to organize, but comes with an additional rental fee. Learn more about portable rig requirements and questions below:

  1. Height: 16.5’ minimum, 19’ or more ideal

  2. Floor Area: 22’ x 28’ footprint, must be on a flat surface

  3. Assembly Time: ~1 hour for set-up, less than an hour to take down

  4. Be prepared to answer the following questions:

    1. Do you have professional lighting, and can you play music for our acts on a high-performance sound system?

    2. Do you have a power source? We would use this for added twinkle lights!

    3. Are you on the second floor of a building or above, or have other accessibility issues? Please make a mental note of these and share. This could add to set-up time.
